Yup, installing UE is much too hard. I think everyone agrees. I tried to offer some solace but it is still a pain.
I happen to like UE, not like people like Apples, not like a religion, but I do like syntax colors, I love auto-fill (type one or two letter, hold Ctrl and press Space and you get a drop down list of all the variables in the file that start with those letters.) Unfortunately UE does not look in USE or INCLUDE files.
The only way I know how to get the Debugger to run is using UE.
I don't like not having SEEK but I do like double-clioking on a word, having that word pop into the search field and finding where that word, or label exists in the source. And fast.
I like selecting a word and DRAGGING it to a different line.
I like selecting a range of text and saying "Make this all comments."
I like saying, "Never mind, reload the source before I made a mess of it."
I like having three files open in tabs and being able to easily switch from one to another.
Did I say I like being able to split the window so I can see the declarative section while coding the procedure section?
And Bookmarks can be a real help if you jump around a large source. The back button is also a nice tool when you have to be in two places at once.
