Ok! Here's what I got in inventory and still works at my office. Amazingly!! Still works within MS but not Comet. Keep it around just in case, what ever. Win98-2, 1 Win2000, 3-xp's (one being a Tablet music server :), 1 Win/2003, 1 Win/2008, 1 Vista-Biz, 1 Vista-Ult. Both servers are not R2. My top client threw me a R2 curve with Win/2003 when they upgraded from Novell 6 to Windows Server. That was because of my hardware provider. Thought I was on top of the game with Win/2003 but wasn't. I'm software, my hardware guys are hardware. I'm not MR. HARDWARE but I'll take a stab any day of the week and will invest in myself!! Feel strong enough with convictions, do it!! Learn curve, hell yea!! Comes from our Q-days when software/hardware stuff came from a single source, the "Q"! Not no more, since 87'? Multi-vendor approach starting with Signature. Dog-eat-dog approach. You know the story!! Top server at top client is Win-2003 R2. To test your 7/7 Comet 2010 issue I would have to update my Win/2008 to R2/7 and my Vista-Ult to 7-Ult. That would place me "2" OS levels above ANY current client I have. What a head start for me!! If it's important, I'll do it.. What's up??
