File copying

Mostly for Keith:

1) grab a big file (100MB) and move it from workstation to server, server to workstation, and workstation to workstation. In Vista there's a down arrow on the copy dialog that will show yoy copy speed. Depending on the Server MOBO, you may be running into the problem I had with my server NIC resetting itself from 30-50MB/Sec to about 1MB/Sec.

2) copying a lot of small files (Comet OBJ's etc) and sub folders takes a lot longer that a single file of the same size. For my Comet backups I'm using WinZip which now has job scheduling. I backup my laptop's C:\Comet to my server. 2GB at the source end and LT 200MB at the destination. Takes about 10 minutes.
