Yes I know about Terabytes, I crossed into Tera territories about 5 years ago, now I have access to a couple of terabytes servers. All backups are not done over the internet to a pair of multi-Terabytes machines sitting in a data center far enough. We use three (3) identical machines for the backups... One is our local backup machine and it automatically replicates to the second machine that replicates to the third.

This way we always have 3 backups... One handy and two not to far.

By the way I lost count of how many Terabytes is within my reach. Most of it is in RAID-5 (SCSI or SAS)
