Ultra Edit may be a pain in the ***, but their tech support is GREAT:
Hello Stephen,
Thanks for your message. You will need to edit the uedit32.ini file to change the default font settings for the child windows. To find your INI file, go to Advanced : Configuration : Application Layout : Advanced (INI File Location).
Under the [Settings] section of the ini file add the following:
Extra Windows Font=Tahoma
Extra Windows Font Height=13
For the Open File Tabs you can use:
TAB Windows Font=Tahoma
TAB Windows Font Height=13
"Tahoma" is the default we use, change this if desired to another font name. 13 is the height we use. Increase this to increase the size of the font as desired.
Note: UltraEdit cannot be running while you edit the .ini. You will need to edit it in another application such as Notepad.
Thanks,
Ben
