The answer, I believe, is in the file header. I suspect that because the version number shows when you run FILENT on an object file.
You will notice in the file header, that the name of the source file is also stored there. Sadly the space alloted for the name of the source is much too small. In other words, the space alloted to the file header info is much too small.
Wouldn't it be nice if the name of the source was a full path name?
