Ah! Now GetFormat and SetFormat I can help you with. I used GetFormat just the other day. I was reading a DOS file with variable length records. Each record consisted of 2 pieces, a header and then the variable length data. After the read I used GetFormat to populate the variables of the header. The rest of the data I needed to process byte-by-byte.

To really appreciate GetFormat and SetFormat you need to remember that Comet32 supports REALLY long strings. You can read an entire file into one string if you want to. You could use GetFormat to parse out individual records from the string.

I'll research Push/PopFont and report back...
