Back in Jan 2010 I posted a problem a user was having when printing to pdfFactory or doing a screen print via File/Print. See link.
Per Brian's suggestion, I asked the owner to remove any invalid or unnecessary printers from the PC. The owner said he did but the problem persisted.
Today, I went on-site to do an uninstall of CometWorkstation. After the reinstall the problem was still there. A File/Print, after 30 seconds, displayed 3 printers. PdfFactory, a local HP inkjet, and the Fax. On my last visit the dialog had scroll bars. So I know the owner truly tried to get rid of the extra printers. Checking the Printers folder, I saw a fourth printer with a "not connected" status. It was being shared by "CST15". But "CST15" died last June and was replaced with "CST26". Only Comet prints to this printer so the INI was changed but I missed the reinstall of the printer on this workstation.
So, I get an ID10T award. The user gets a PICNIC award for not noticing the problem until November.
Each file can be a maximum of 1MB in length Uploaded files will be purged from the server on a regular basis.
