Thanks for the info Barb. We would be very interested in trying the new version. I thought we were running on 905 before, but perhaps we werent. We had some issues trying to install 905. In the end, we ended up deleting the registry keys, and renaming the Comet Services folder, and we were then able to get a good install.
I think one of the most frustrating thing was that once it crashed, we were not able to restart it without rebooting.
The interesting thing is after the first crash, we ran for a week without an issue, then all of a sudden, we get 2 crashes within an hour.
The 2 non-standard things we are running on our Comet server are 1. a logmein client and 2. the windows search index thats used to support libraries in windows 7. I'm wondering if something is happening thats exaggerating the issue, and making the rare error more frequent.
Regardless, we'd be happy to try out the new security server when it becomes available.
