There you go again asking for Port address...

Read the RFCs on assigned numbers. Ports are free for the taking, grab any one you desire, climb on top of the nearest snow bank and yell that you have dibs on it!

I am still wondering what you want to do with a port address, that part you did not explain.

By the way, I have dibs on port 8675... That's the one I use to allow the Avaya IVR (phone system) to pass customer numbers (collected digits) back to Comet when transfering a call to the service department. That is a great app, when the phone rings and the customer record pops up on the screen at the same time. Saves so much chit-chat time.

So, why do you want a port again?

By the way, I have a nice old bottle of Port here, if ever you're in town and are tempted...

Cheers!
