ERROR 83 WINDOWS DISK ERROR

I have a program that consistantly errors out with an "83 Windows Disc Error"

The error is on a DELETE
The file "File Checks" and "Key Checks" withot errors

The excp 83 does not write to ERRLOG

What is this error and how is it fixed?

Comet version is Comet2009 Build .406/09.02
Data BAse Vsn 9.05
