I am having an issue accessing a directory on the server.
The client is running Comet 2009 single user. Currently runs Comet on his workstation only with all directories being accessed to his "C" drive. Comet key, security server, and file server all running on his machine.
They have a daily backup that runs and cannot/are not backing up his machine. So we want to move the "DSK" folder to the server so that it is backed up on a regular basis.
We moved the "DSK" folder, actually the entire lot of comet folders, to the Server. The server is mapped to his computer as the "S" drive, ie: \\Server\S_Drv.
When trying to access we get the following message: "Comet Startup Warning". Cannot Find \\Server\S_Drv\DPAC\DSK\QDIR.I00
In the comet.ini file I have tried referencing as the "S:" drive and by the unc path.
Network service tech's say there is nothing on their end blocking it.
So I have gone completely blank on how to resolve this issue and I'm sure Barb has been down this road already with me.
Attached are startup logs, comet.ini, and error messages.
Thanks for any help coming my way.
Each file can be a maximum of 1MB in length Uploaded files will be purged from the server on a regular basis.
