Had long conversation about Comet QSPOOL with clients. Had to spend/make the time. Conclusions are. For older continuous form 1000 lpm printers Genicom has no up-to-date drivers for Vista/7. For these types printers must maintain XP and QSPOOL. Centralized printers are no longer the mass norm for my clients. Everyone has their own local laser printer. But they do have a central HP SUPER printer that is fast for those BIG jobs!! A full page that prints in 2 seconds. The big jobs belong to Comet. The smaller but more numerous jobs are Office Suites and email stuff. So it's big Comet print jobs, numerous small jobs verses Doc Mgr!! So you want Comet Doc Mgr to be central to all Comet docs plus any office suites?? And maybe mobile stuff also?? HOW??
