The source and destination are on different drives and machines.
Source is in C:\pdfFactory\AutoSave and the destination is in the \\Cometarc file share on the server. My thought is that the file generation goes faster if done locally.
Testing on my development PC, with both the pdfFactory\AutoSave and \\CometArc on my C: drive, I get about 50 invoices per minute. 1st phase of the invoice program is to print to paper invoices. 2nd phase is to produce per invoice PDF's. Not wanting to print 150 pages of paper, my tests have been printing to my standard PDF printer (no DocMgr association). The speed on that process, one big file, is close to 1000 invoices per minute. So, the rendering seems to be minor.
I think I'll do a test and get time stamped entries in a log file. Might be early next week.
Each file can be a maximum of 1MB in length Uploaded files will be purged from the server on a regular basis.
