Jim, read the Wikipedia reference, it does state:
"In fact, many applications allow .csv-named files to use any delimiter character."

We have always used the pipe symbol "|" as a delimiter because it's never part of a name or address and
it saves time deciding how to handle embedded commas and quotes....
