that Comet.exe be installed in the CometAnywhere folder, not the Comet folder. To be clear on my issue here are the exact steps taken.
1) Installed CometServices 10.3
2) Installed Comet2010 419 in server Comet folder
3) Installed modified Comet.exe in server Comet folder, assumed C/A users would get this copied up, bad assumption.
3) Started services & license registered OK
4) Started CometAnywhere Host, ran fine & showed as running 419
5) Connected to their CometAnywhere Host from my PC with no problem
6) Signed off assuming all was well
7) Two of approximately twelve remote users called with the same "file not found" error as Jeff. I connected up using logmein, downloaded Comet2010Install419.exe and unzipped it into C:\Comet on one machine and C:\Program Files\Signature Systems, Inc\CometAnywhere on the other. I did not download & unzip the cometexe.zip file. Both machines connected to the CometAnywhere host after the install took place.

I'm not sure why some of the remote users encountered a problem and others did not. I'm not sure why a Comet install on the two machines with problems corrected the problem when it did not do so for Jeff.
