I found the problem with the comet.exe I gave to Jeff. Comet.exe is located in 2 places in a comet release. The first is the obvious one, that is used to launch comet including the CometAnywhere host. The second is as part of caupdate.exe which is the file copied to the CometAnywhere client and then expanded. Both needed to be updated. Unzip the attached file to the host's comet folder. Then restart comet. This should hopefully correct the inconsistency.
