The security server is not running after I downloaed the new updates for c2k334, 04.02 , etc and then tried to start up Comet2004.
The reason was I did not have the two tray icons..
I erased the Comet files on the C: drive that you said should not be there.
I then ran the new update of CometServerProducts.exe. It runs until it gets the following message "Setup has detected a previous version of the Comet File Server running on this system." "Please shutdown this program and try again." I can not find a program Comet File Server.
I think I need to start from the beginning again.
My plan is as follows:
Make sure there are no Comet programs on my C Drive. (I have all my files on the E: drive Is this correct?
I also have Comet 98 in a seperate directory on E:
Then I will start with CometServerProducts.exe - I did and got the shutdown message above
