Take a look at (GetSystemTime). There's a lot of date time stuff you can pull into Comet.

Pretty much everybody in the world uses the Common Era (CE) calendar for day to day and business and keep their legacy calendars for religious/cultural events.

I suppose that, to maintain the DD-MON-YY (DDMONYY) format, there must be 3 character MON abreviations for every language.
