You're right. CopyFile doesn't deal with qdirs. It's more like a dos copy. To do a QTILITY-type COPY you need to write the read/write loop in your program. Key to Text is easy. Just read the keyed, write the text. Going the other way you need to remember that you must specify a key field for the write. If the key info is in the record use an extended keyed file. On the CREATE you specify the position of the key information in the record. Then you can just do a simple WRITE without the KEY= parameter.
