I have an unusual thing happening with UE. If I start Comet32 from the desktop first, UE compiles fine. If I try to start Comet from UE I get an error:

COSW is unable to load COSC.EXE. Please make sure all executables are in the initial program’ directory.

I’ve duplicated the path commands from the Comet desktop shortcut but it UE will not start Comet without the error. Is there switch somewhere? I’ve definitely loaded and unloaded UE a couple of times while trying to get up to speed. I can easily work around this but I’d like to know what could be happening.
