No... I checked OIDH (the one program off the top of my head that I knew was QIC)
in FILENT (QTILITY #15) it looks like any other executable, but shows up as:
FILE TYPE: QIC
-not-
FILE TYPE: IB
the record size is the same (756)
no... my guess is that I'll have write an IB program to read each object in SYO and do some kind of FSTAT on it to see what the type is
