My "standard" is to do an "ERRORTO 9800" at the start of the program. This will trap any unexpected errors and send the program to 9800. Usually the first thing I do is another ERRORTO 9800 to reset the error trapping.
I then follow that with my standard E33 logic and do an AGAIN. Otherwise, I let the program fall into an ERROR.
Errors like E33 and E36 can get into a very tight loop that appears to be a "Freeze UP".
