I was looking to take advantage of the extended key length (254 vs. 64) of extended files. In the wiki:
http://wiki.signature.net/index.php/IB_Statements/create
it states that:
Optionally a key-position may be specified. This indicates an "extended keyed file" (added in Comet 2005). In these files, CFAM automatically stores a copy of the key data in your record and may be up to 254 characters.
this seems to apply to creating inside an IB program.
for a legacy system (Comet 2008/391) is this possible with utilities or must one write a short IB program to accomplish this?
Thanx
Each file can be a maximum of 1MB in length Uploaded files will be purged from the server on a regular basis.
