Compiler Question

I'm not ready to completely get rid of Comet keyed files for our source code for a number of reasons. But I would like to expand our files larger than 94/7.

So I made a source file 134/7. One line of code is 120 bytes, with the ! and key appended to the end.

When I compile in Comet16, it chops off after around 94 characters
When I compile in Comet32, it reads all 134 bytes

If I copy my 134/7 file to a text file, with any extension, and compile in either Comet16 or Comet32, it reads the entire record.

For now, a workaround is to modify my compile routine to create a temporary text file, copy the keyed source file to it, and compile the text file. I dont want to recommend any big changes to Comet16, but is it a quick fix to have the compiler in Comet16 read more than just 94 bytes if its a keyed source file?
