It's inconsistent. Some times the MSGBOX shows info (maybe out of COMMON) from a recently departed program.

The E61 isn't being posted to the new ErrLog.

And, maybe related. If I'm in using a password with READY rights and I F3/F10 from a program I end up a "ENTER PASSWORD" instead of READY.
