CFG files are built using the SYSGEN utility. You edit an INI file, often called Comet.INI, using NotePad and then run SYSGEN to rebuild the CFG files. Did you use SYSGEN or did you try to edit the CFG directly?

You might consider restoring the CFG file from a backup.

And, post your Comet.INI.
