One (TP) can serve as the end of one field and the start of another. Take a look at the "new" INPUT where you don't use TP's at all.
Also, my quick solution for crowed screens is to use (Screen=90,32). That gives you 90 (0-89) wide and 30 vertical (0,29). Line 31 is the control line. I like to leave a blank line between.
My largest ever was (Screen=132,50). Small print :)
