Made a lot of progress in last two weeks. Have received a STATE generated spread sheet via NEWPA.com and saved it as a CSV file. The last field in the 46th field format is the Tax District Name, which is where you report/transfer local withholdings. It gets truncated past 1024 bytes. If Comet32 can READ past 1024 what am I doing wrong? All my extended 32 compiles are successful. I'm continuing with the local political issues which are massive. Pennsylvania is the only state that mandates local tax withholding. So this is what I'm discovering. Must report local tax withholdings every 30 days to defined tax districts. Local Tax Districts are one-on-one with PA county's except for Philly and Allegheny. I'll take care of those exceptions. My interpretation so far is that I must produce an internet interface to defined tax districts. Seems like a communications issue with who?? Local taxes will be withheld, transferred to WHO and distributed to WHAT? By Jan 1st? Game on!! Gimme, Gimme, Gimme!!
