One of my customers "hides" the Comet folder and sub folders by adding a "$" to the end of the share name.

\\PSR_COM2\COMET$\DSK\

This hides the share from Windows Explorer.

Comet.exe and the CFG files are kept in a visible, shared folder called \\psr_com2\CSYS.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hiding folders this way can give Comet users the ability to run programs that Import and Export with CopyFile but keep the windows folders "confidential".

JLPU-1 \\Psr_nts2\Com_Data\COMET Changes\COMET Changes.csv
JLPU-2 \\Psr_com2\DSK$\JLPUDATA.CSV

-1 is the location of the file to be imported with the name the manager gives the file (he's not a Comet user)
-2 is the location and Comet name of the file that is used to update the Job Cost system by a Comet user

Had to set up DSK$ to get CopyFile to work.
