Haven't had a customer ask to do this. I'm for consolidating servers to a local virtual host. For Comet, local is better.
All the big Cloud providers in the states have had some embarrassing outages. The "five nines" (99.999) promises seem a bit shakey so far.
One of my customers (San Diego) has offices in Seattle and Honolulu. He has multi-T1 service. We can get Comet to run but CometAnywhere is faster. Users used to full, local Comet will be disappointed by the slowdown.
As far as the USB port. I think the customer could set up a local PC to provide security to the Cloud server that's hosting Comet Services.
Each file can be a maximum of 1MB in length Uploaded files will be purged from the server on a regular basis.
