My sharing problem is with printer drivers. Still too few 64bit drivers. And a lot of "gothchas".

Example. Customer upgraded from SBS 2003 (32bit OS) to SBS2011 (64bit OS). Their big Xerox MFC printer used 32bit drivers for Server 2003. Server 2008 has only 64bit drivers. No drivers were available for months so the printer could not be shared out to the XP workstations. Same in reverse, some of the XP workstation printers are unavailable to the CometAnywhere host which runs on the server.

For quite some time, Comet has been able to send print jobs to a shared printer, via UNC, without having to install the printer on the sending PC. In a mixed 32/64 environment it looks like that may no longer be true.
