Toggling from ploting to LF mode on laser printer

I am printing forms to a laser printer. Do you know how I can move to a given row on a page to begin printing in LF/CR mode after printing using x,y coordinates? Counting and printing LF's will not work in this case. For example: I begin printing in LF mode but do not know how many lines will print, I then want to go to a specific row and begin printing in LF mode again. If I cannot re-start on a given line any plotting does not match up. I tried using the MOVE TO mnemonic with no luck.
