Never used "rr". But there are other email tests you can do.

If you have your own email server (mine's Exchange 2007), you can go to www.mxtoolbox.com and check the status of your server. They'll do a Black List check. If you've been blacklisted you have to go to each organization and find out why. Lots of mail servers are set up to check incomming email against one of more blacklist.

The Diagnostics test will show your email server's status. It's bad if the "Open Relay" and "Reverse DNS" settings are incorrect.

That said, and all my server settings perfect, I just had a failure when I sent some JPG's to one of my wife's friends at ATT.NET. Both tries failed with no reply (NDR) from ATT.NET. Used my Hotmail account and the JPG's went. Grrr!!!

Besides the "rr", you might consider a "bcc" to an outside account on Hotmail or Gmail. If you email gets delivered there, then your email server is probably set up OK. If the customer doesn't get their copy, then you could forward from the "bcc" account and see if it goes thru.

Email is fun :)
