Wall Paper command

I need help understanding how the instruction/command/mnemonic WallPaper Bitmap works ..

How long does the Wallpaper live? If a menu sets the wallpaper, will that background remain when the user runs a program from the menu? Does the monitor clear the wallpaper?

Now about the argument File Name: is this a Comet file name or a Windows file name? As no directory is mentioned it must be a Windows file name. Is a full path name needed if the file is in the Comet startup directory?

What kind of file is required? JPG, PNG, TIF, bitmap? Is there a file size limit either maximum or minimum?
