CometPDF

I am having some problems with large files printing in CometPDF (> than about 6Mb).
This relates to a post from me on 12/21/2011 regarding CopyFile.
It seems the problem relates to the # buffer and not CopyFile.
When I read the buffer, I get nothing and I can see the pdf file is still being copied to the CometPDF folder. Have tried inserting a PAUSE at the end of printing to no effect. When is the buffer actually written? Is there a way I can check the buffer? I have tried a loop to check and re-read the buffer but still get blanks.
Works fine when printing to HTML printer so I am thinking it is maybe a timeout problem with CometPDF.
Running latest of everything. Same result in Comet16 or 32.
