I doubt that the CometKMD driver is causing the access denied. The KMD driver is still needed if the customer is using a parallel dongle and not a USB dongle.

If you really want to uninstall the KMD driver, you might try using "Add/Remove Programs". The name of the application is "Comet Security Module Drivers". To be honest I don't know whether this will successfully uninstall the driver or not.
