End-user has CometAnywhere Host running Comet32 in NJ. Florida showroom user called to say CometAnywhere printing was reporting device offline or unavailable. I connected up to the PC and was able to print a test page out of Windows. I set up debug and looked in log, it reports invalid printer name. I notice that the printer name looks like this "HP Officejet blahblahblah#:5" I removed the # from the printer name and tested again, still got invalid printer name. I removed the colon from the printer name, that worked. Is the colon a Comet invalid character for use in a printer name?
