Happens with local comet stations using /PN= and those launching CA via /NET. Both use the same shortcut of \\server\comet\comet.exe with start-in of \\server\comet\

My steps for migrating them were performed on each station:

Logged in as admin. Uninstalled Comet workstation. Installed MS VC++ 2008 Redistributables.
Logbged in as user. Modify shortcut to launch new comet from new server. Verify cosw.ini copied over from previous \windows directory into new location, \D&S\user\local settings\application data\signature systems\.

Every time shortcut is launched, the vc extract and install process happens and the pop-up occurs to select user to run as. On every machine.

What am I missing?
