The demo certificate doesn't have anything to do with this. It sounds like it's not asking you for the directory because it already knows it. It looks in the QSTART2 file for the name and dir of the password file. If the QSTART2 record is there, it expects that info to be correct. So, if you're trying to change the name or dir of the file on the new server, you should get rid of the QSTART2 file also. It will prompt you to recreate it. I'd suggest putting in on COS.
