There are a couple of ways you may be able to do this. First, there is a "Print" option for one or more selected documents that simply launches the document with the "print" action. If whatever your text editor is respects the "print" action it could work. I can tell you my version of UltraEdit does not. The doc simply opens in UE. This feature works best with .pdf docs.
A more reliable way would be to use the "Process Docs" feature. This was added in REL 12.05 and gives you the ability to process a selection of documents selected by the user. You can read more info about it at the link below.
Each file can be a maximum of 1MB in length Uploaded files will be purged from the server on a regular basis.
