Printing and Comet Anywhere

It seems like everyone BUT me knows that printing with Comet Anywhere is a problem.
Is Signature working on this?
Has anyone, anyone, run timing tests to quantify the difference between printing at a remote location and printing locally?
Are there any workarounds besides the complicated multi-step PDF scheme proposed by Marc?
