I have a network with 2 Novell 3.2 servers connected thru a VPN. Both are running the Cometsrv NLM. When the VPN is down or something like that where the remote server is not available, Comet won't start. The workstations that have access to both networks hang when they try to access the remote server.
I'm not sure of the versions but it happens on both Comet98 and Comet2004. I don't have a copy of the startup log since it doesn't start. I just know that it stops after the second server entry and never goes any further. I change to a configuration that doesn't access the remote server and it comes up ok.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
