Without the (WC) I don't think you can go below the "bottom" line.

Used to use (WC) as a way for a background process to tell the Initiating Terminal (ITERM$) that it was done. Got rid of Background processing as a pre-Comet32 cleanup. Then Signature decided that Background was OK and added it back to Comet32.
