decoding Errors for (LAUNCH=) mnemonic

put a PRINT (0) (LAUNCH= ) statement in a program

works every time for .txt
never works for .pdf

so.... put in some code to try to decode the A$, D$ returned

used the same structure and code I use in (COPYFILE)

get file error of ZERO and function error of 2

don't know what to make of this.....
