I've got a TEST system running QSPOOL and a PROD system running DocMgr
I've been mandated to bring the TEST system into sync with the PROD system
is there any problem with having both on the same system?
I'll do QSPOOL for Comet16
I'll do DocMgr for Comet32
my only thought is that since SPL whould be for the DocMgr archive, i've got to make up a set of names for the QSPOOL files. Yet all that I've seen shows me that the names for the QSPOOL files are all SPL##### etc... and I don't want to have to rename files, rebuild directories etc.
I figured it's possible to have the QSPOOL files hidden under a folder name and the DocMgr archives under another:
QSPOOLArc
C/16 archives
DOCMGRArc
C/32 archives
But I think that I'd get a problem if I tried to enable having
In a C/16 program SPL$ = "SPL"
in a c/32 program SPL$ = "SPL"
and have them go to the right place.
Any hacks would be greatly appreciated.
Thanx

P.S. 63 Million Frenchmen celebrate my Birthday on Sunday 14 July... I'm trying not to let this ruin my festivities.... but I suddenly have scrutiny since I've had some "gremlins" and focus is now on "The TEST vs. PROD discrepancy" and not on program bugs that I haven't found yet :(
