The key part to this post is the fact that the new machine is 64-bit. That means this workstation will be running Comet32. Comet16 hasn't changed much in the past two years, Comet32 has changed a lot. Lots of updates, lots of bug fixes. For example, I've got an end-user on Coemt2012 .469 and I just found an A/P program that does an input block where the fields don't pad out. I know I've got to get them on current versions to fix it. Your code is Comet32-compliant, right? No image files, no special character translation, etc. I have a feeling that you're going to encounter other issues besides the image not rendering and that the only answer is to either go to Win7 32-bit or to upgrade Comet to current.
