Still working on establishing a current Comet2013 environment for an end-user running on old Comet2003 and Novell. New Win2008R2 Standard server installed. Current Comet2013 and services installed. Data directories from Novell server copied and placed on the new server. I configure the directories as \\comet2013\PDF_Apps\comet\... and things run beautifully on the server desktop which is of course running Comet32. However, when I create a shortcut from the client desktop to Comet2013 Comet starts up and says that none of the directories can be found. So I create a mapped drive, change the INI file and sysgen, now the client can run Comet. I create the same map back on the server and try to run Comet, now it says it can't find Q:\comet\...
Can't win here. Any suggestions?
