Have a client with Windows 2003 R2, lot's of XP clients with a few Win/7's. Network is complex as it extends across 30+ locations with security camera's, location admin pc's, heavy web site interaction and constant network upgrades. My involvement is with HQ accounting apps. Each week before P/R update perform a complete backup. Use YYYMMDD-Seq # as a directory name. With A/P and G/L use YYYYMM-? as a directory name. 9B errors on 7 and XP, two separate PC's. I like the idea of doing weekly updates on a different PC be it 7 or XP. Or even my $250 Acer Win/7 starter! Thanks!!
