CFAM error

While at meeting on site with customer IT guy, user comes in and says his print jobs are not printing to LP1. The PC (Win7) that is the "printer server" for LP1, is also the CAW Host.

We go to his workstation and do a reprint. Still no print. At the CAW Host, we find a CFAM error. See attachments. The PC has the "What's Printing" dialog open but shows no print jobs. I try to pause the printer but it doesn't seem to take.

We reboot the PC. Apparently the pause did work and now all the missing print jobs are showing in the "What's Printing" dialog. All is now well. Apparently the CFAM error has interferred with the Windows Print Services.

Or maybe not. The CAW PC (now Win7 and formerly XP) has always had problems with pdfFactory going "sour" after a few days and needing a reboot. Post Win7 and with newer pdfFactory versions this is happening less frequently. But more often that the CFAM error.

"Sour" means a MSGBOX from pdfFactory. Originally it said something about "director". After upgrades the MSGBOX started coming up with no message at all.
